Loving Pet Connection! Dear Barbara & Trudy,
I would like to share a lovely experience which has reminded me just
how magical the power of love can be. My young daughter and I were
to take a few days holiday out of town recently during school
vacation time so we reluctantly took our much loved tortoiseshell
cat Tilly to a cat motel the night before we were to go away. Those
of us who deeply love our pets will know just how difficult it is to
be apart from them - even if only for a few days!
When we returned to our house from taking Tilly to the cattery, it
was evening and my daughter and I were feeling very empty without
her around us. We began to watch television and I went into the
kitchen for a glass of water, thinking that Tilly would be asleep
and wondering how she was feeling. Suddenly a movement caught my eye
and I turned around to see a clear "image" of Tilly slowly walking
into the kitchen with the same movement she normally makes - slow
and waddling (she is an oversized girl!).
As quickly as the vision appeared, it was gone. But I felt so much
love in that brief moment that it was overwhelming. I immediately
knew that Tilly was alright. For me these joyful experiences cannot
be explained, but I do know that love brings all kinds of miracles.

experience when you are worried about someone or something a long
way away and then having it appear to you to let you know it is
