Auctioning the Carmelite Monastery
Dear Barbara & Trudy,
My fiancé was asked to video tape an auction at a Carmelite Monastery. The sisters have become so ill, they are unable to continue leading their cloistered life. My family has always had close ties with these nuns since one of my aunts jointed at age sixteen.
Once the video tap was transferred to VHS, we watched if for quality. We
were surprised to see that at the very
beginning as people were filing into what
was the chapel; sparkles of light were
floating up and out. Once the auction began
and the religious items were being bid on,
the sparkles disappeared. No one noticed the
sparkles in person and it wasn’t a
particularly sunny day. I firmly believe
that they were angels. It was my first
thought. Can you please give me your
thoughts?
Roseanne D.
Our Reply:
Dear Rosanne,
Our first thoughts were the same as yours. The angels immediately told us that the sparkles were deceased sisters who had come to say goodbye to their “home” of many years. When the auction started, they were complete with their mission and left. Sometimes when we are teaching we see colors or presences that we believe to be angels or spirit guides. Barbara was in church once and there were very few people in attendance. Yet she could see that every seat was filled by spiritual beings. She could see and feel their energy! It was, to her, the deceased faithful coming to pray even though others would have thought the pews empty. Angels are everywhere for those who have the faith to see them.
