Message for Mychal Judge Dear Barbara and Trudy,
Your letter from Mychal Judge blew my mind. Mychal was my parish
priest and friend. A dear man. I know fireman who survived 911 who
were in the building that day and were close personal friends of
Mychal. We all felt that Mychal crossed over first to be there to
greet his friends in the NYFD as they crossed over. I am going to
share this with the wife of a FDNY fireman who, by the grace of God,
was blown out of the tower as it collapsed. You must truly have a
special link to the other side to have connected with Mychal. When
you talk to him again, please give him our love.

Dear Valerie,
Thank you so much for telling us more about Mychal. His message was
one of the finest we ever received. It really humbles us when we
have been chosen to do the work we do.
You can thank Mychal yourself, as you have done many times. Every
thought of him brings him to you with his special love. In fact,
right now he is telling me that when you think of him, it is because
he is there. He is saying that the glory of "being in spirit" has
much to do with instant travel. He is also saying he is doing more
work for firefighters now than he ever could have done on earth. And
if you ever hear of a firefighter dying or being wounded, Mychal is
at work.
What a wonderful man. We can feel his love and infectious sense of
humor! We can hear this huge laugh that comes from every cell in his
body. When Mychal laughed, everybody laughed.
Bless you for the message. It did our hearts good on this day when
London is hurting in a similar way.
