Child, there has been hate as long as there has been humans, particularly in days when no one knew how to read or write so they had to take all their knowledge from authorities who told them what was politically convenient. All manner of misinformation was given out, some of which has lasted for many centuries.
We will give you the spiritual answer as opposed to the human answer. Your earth is polarity. In order to enjoy the gifts of love, you need to know what it is like to be without it. If you love, you will also have hate, violence, fear, and pain of all kinds. There is no way around it. If you lived on a planet where there is nothing BUT love, you wouldn’t have any idea of the polarity of “love.” That is what the lessons of life are all about.
Haters must blame someone for their hate. There is always a reason to hate someone who is “different” from yourself. Even today, it is easier to hate than to compromise or give in. If that is- done, one might be perceived as weak or vulnerable. It is thought that the weak get overthrown or killed, thus it is best to show strength by hating. You might say that most people think that the weak become the vanquished while the strong hate the most successfully.
When it is said to love your enemies, it simply means to not hate anyone. You can do it, too, one person at a time.
